  2. 450 gms Zorabian Breast Boneless Chicken
  3. 8 tbsp Yogurt (Whisked)
  4. 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi

  7. 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  8. 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

  12. 1 Black Cardamom
  13. 3 Green Cardamom
  14. 2 Pieces Cinnamon Stick
  15. 3 Cloves
  16. 2 Onions (Finely Chopped)
  17. 4 tbsp Tomato Paste/Puree
  18. 12 Cashewnuts (Soak in hot water for 10 minutes and grind to a paste)
  19. 3 tbsp Fresh Cream
  20. 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  21. 1 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  22. 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  23. 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi (Dry Roasted)
  24. 1 cup Water
  25. to Taste Salt

Steps to make to make Kasuri Methi Malai Chicken

  1. Firstly, wash and drain the chicken pieces. Transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients mentioned under “For Marination “. Mix until well combined and set aside to marinate for one hour. (Room Temperature).
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai. Add black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. Next add the chopped onions and saute on medium heat until light brown.
  3. Next add the tomato paste and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Now add the marinated chicken and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
  5. Next add the kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder and saute for a minute or two.
  6. Add the cashewnut paste and salt. Mix well and cook on low heat until oil appears at the surface.
  7. Add water and cover and cook on low heat until chicken is tender ie. for about 15 minutes.
  8. When chicken is done, add cream and cook on low heat for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add water, if required, to attain desired consistency.
  9. Add dry roasted kasuri methi and cook for more 2 to 3 minutes.
  10. Creamy and Delicious Kasuri Methi Malai Chicken is ready. Serve it hot with roti, steamed rice and pepper chicken.
