  8. 1 Tamalpatra
  9. 1 tsp Cumin
  10. 8-10 Cashews
  11. 1 tbsp Ginger chili paste
  12. 3 Medium size onion
  13. 5-6 Bud garlic
  14. 5 Medium size tomatoes
  15. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  16. Salt to taste
  17. To make the final vegetable:
  18. 2 tbsp Ghee
  19. 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red chilly powder
  20. 1 tbsp Coriander
  21. Prepared puree
  22. 250 gms Pieces of Paneer
  23. 1/4 cup Fresh cream
  24. 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  25. For garnishing:
  26. Chopped coriander
  27. Fresh cream

Steps to make to make Shahi Paneer

  1. Heat ghee oil in a pan and add cumin, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaf and pepper. Then add large pieces of onion and garlic. Allow to cook for two minutes.
  2. Now add ginger-chili paste, cashew nuts and large tomato pieces, add 1/4 cup water, turmeric and salt to taste and let it cook till the tomatoes become soft. Then turn off the gas and let it cool completely.
  3. Add the prepared mixture to the jar of the mixer to make its puree. Keep this puree on the side.
  4. Heat ghee in a pan and add Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander and prepared puree.
  5. Now add pieces of Paneer, mix well and let it cook for two minutes.
  6. Then add Kasuri methi and fresh cream and mix well.
  7. So that the Shahi paneer will be ready to serve.
