- 2 bowls sour curd
- 1 litre water

- 1/4+1/4 tsp coriander seeds powder
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 onion
- 1 piece ginger
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 Green chilli
- 4-6 pods garlic
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 plate cashew nuts Pakoda
Instructions to make to make Cashew nuts Pakoda Kadhi
- Add Gram flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and carrom seeds and mix well.
- Now add curd. Add water slowly and keep onbeating the mixture with a whisker till all the ingredients mixes well. Add remaining water and mix well. Keep the mixture aside.
- Peel, Wash and chop onions, grate ginger. Make a puree of tomatoes by grinding in a mixer. Chop green chilli and garlic.
- Now heat cooking oil in a heavy bottomed karahi and put cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter, add coriander seeds and saute for 1 minute. Now, put finely chopped onions, grated ginger, chopped green chilli and garlic and saute till oil leaves the karahi. Now add tomato puree and cook till oil leaves the sides.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander seeds powder and mix well and saute for 1 minute.
- Now add the gram flour and curd solution in this masala while stirring. Stir the mixture thoroughly with a ladle. Let it come to boil. Now slow the flame and let it simmer on low flame till it turn thick. It will take 30 minutes to cook thoroughly.
- Meanwhile in another pan make cashew nuts Pakoda. The link of cashew nuts Pakoda is attached.
- When the mixture gets a little thick add cashew nuts Pakoda and let it simmer on low flame for 5 minutes. Add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and mix. Switch off the flame.
- Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala and serve hot with rice or chapatti.
