  1. In a pan, add oil and saute cloves, black pepper and cardamom pods. Then add chopped onion, garlic cloves and ginger cube and saute it until onions are translucent.
  2. Then add chopped tomatoes and cover the lid and cook for few minutes. Then turn the flame off and let it cool. Once its cool down then grind it in mixer and strain it.
  3. Also make paste of soaked cashews and melon seeds and keep it aside.
  4. Make dry masala paste. In a bowl, take turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and some water and mix it well.
  5. In a pan, heat oil and add finely chopped onion, saute it. Then add dry masala paste and saute for 2 mins. Then add onions tomatoes paste, salt and saute it. Further add cashews and melon seeds paste and saute it.
  6. Now add fried cashew nuts, grated paneer, kasuri methi, fresh malai and mix everything well.
  7. Garnish with grated paneer, fried cashews and coriander leaves.
