  2. Turmeric powder assofodeta presser cook lentils for 4-5 whistles / until become soft and smooth mash with whisk
  3. Keep aside if looking thick add 1 cup water (depends on thickness) simmer for 3-4 min. add garam masala powder salt mix well switch off the flame.
  4. For Tempering - Heat up oil / ghee in small pan add cumin seeds dry red chilli garlic let the garlic brown add kasuri methi red chilli powder pour entire into cooked dal
  5. Add green coriander leaves. Serve hot with steam rice.
