- Fry them till golden in colour.
- Soak the mustard seeds in 1/4 cup of hot water for 30 minutes.
- Then make a paste by mixing it with green chili, curd and coconut in a food processor or mixer grinder.
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan on medium heat and add cumin seeds, green chillies and temper it.
- Add grounded mustard paste and tomatoes.
- Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder and cook for 7-8 minutes while stirring continuously.
- Now add fried cauliflower and potatoes, also add garam masala powder, salt and sugar.
- Mix well and add little water and cook covered till soft and dry.
- Serve hot phulkopir aloo dalna with paratha.
