- When it is done, switch off the flame and when the pressure goes off open the lid..
- Add some boiled water to adjust the consistency..(if required)

- Add chili and tomatoes
- When the tomatoes become mushy add it to the daal and mix
- Then take 5-6 tablespoon of ghee and add cumin seeds and chopped garlic cloves to it..
- When garlic cloves turn golden brown switch off the flame and add red chili powder and turmeric powder to it and pour it into the daal..
- And our Saag daal is ready.. garnish it with finely chopped green chilies and ginger
