- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder

- Heat ghee in a pan. Add semolina and keeping the heat low, roast it for 10-15 minutes till it's color changes from white to light brown

- Heat oil in a pan, add asafetida, cumin seeds,saute for 1 minutes keep low heat.
- Add all spices and salt on the side of the pan and quickly mix them in oil.
- Add boiled chana along with remaining water, cook for 15 - 20 minutes on low heat till all water evaporates and spices and salt mixed with chana.
- Remove from heat. Serve hot with halwa and poori.
