Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Soya Tikka Masala:
- 1 small packet Soya Chunks
- Marination
- 1/2 cup Hung Curd
- 1 small Capsicum
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 medium Tomato
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
- 1/2 tsp Kasuri Methi
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp Besan
- 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
- as required Oil for frying
- Gravy
- 1 medium Onion
- 2-3 green chilli
- 2 medium Tomato
- 2-3 Cardamom
- 1 small Cinnamon stick
- 2-3 Cloves
- 1 small ginger piece
- 5-6 Garlic (finely minced)
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- as per taste Salt
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1/2-1 cup Water
- as required Oil for Cooking
- 3 tbsp chopped Coriander
Steps to make to make Soya Tikka Masala
- Chop veggies into cubes, take hung curd and take boiled and squeezed soya chunks.
- Assemble all marination ingredients.
- In a mixing bowl add curd, add Besan, ginger and all spices except red chilli powder. Mix all very nicely.
- In pan add oil and heat oil moderately, switch off flame and add Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well. Pour this chilli oil into the marination mixture and mix nicely.
- Now add soya chunks + diced veggies and give a good mix, keep in rest for 1/2 hour to 1 hour.
- Now in moderately heated pan, add oil, first fry the marinated soya chunks till golden brown.
- Fry the marinated veggies also.
- Assemble all ingredients for gravy.
- In moderately heated pan add oil, add cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and allow to crackle, then add chopped onion and sauté till translucent, then add ginger + garlic and sauté for few seconds. Then add chopped potatoes and sauté for few seconds.
- Tomato will turn mushy, add all spices and stir fry till spices leaves oil and turns aromatic.
- Now add the left over marinade mixture by adding little water and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add remaining water and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Now add chopped coriander and mix well. Add soya and all veggies, mix well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Dish is done.
- Soya Tikka Masala is ready to serve.
