Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Paneer Tikka Masala:

  1. 200 gram Paneer
  2. 1 tbsp Besan
  3. 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
  4. 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  5. Marination
  6. 1/2 cup Curd
  7. 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
  8. 1 tbsp Cumin powder
  9. 1 tbsp Chat Masala
  10. 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  11. 1 tbsp Salt
  12. 1 capsicum
  13. 1 onion
  14. 1 tomato
  15. 1 tbsp ginger paste
  16. Gravy / Masala
  17. 1 onion
  18. 1 tomato
  19. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  20. 1 bay leaf
  21. 3 cardamom
  22. 1 dry red chilli
  23. 3-4 green chilli
  24. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  25. 2-3 tbsp Oil
  26. 1 tsp Chat Masala
  27. 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  28. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  29. 1/2 tsp Sugar
  30. 3 tbsp chopped Coriander
  31. 1/2 cup- 3/4 cup water

Steps to make to make Paneer Tikka Masala

  1. Assemble all ingredients for marination, cut veggies into cubes. Remove seeds from tomato.
  2. Curd and all dry spices
  3. In a mixing bowl, add curd + all mentioned spices and mix well. Heat pan add mustard oil and allow to smoky heat, switch off flame and then add Kashmiri powder and mix well. Transfer this mixture into curd and mix well.
  4. Now add all diced veggies + paneer and mix very nicely, make sure that paneer is coated well with the masala. Keep in rest for around 1 hour.
  5. Assemble all ingredients for gravy.
  6. Fry the marinated paneer and veggies and keep aside.
  7. In moderately heated pan add oil, add all dry spices and allow to crackle, then add onion and sauté till pinkish, then add ginger garlic paste and sauté till rawness disappear.
  8. Then add chopped tomatoes and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add all spices except Kasuri methi and stir fry till spices leaves oil.
  9. Now add the left over curd mixture (marinade mixture) by adding water and give a good mix.
  10. Now add sugar + coriander and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  11. Now add paneer + veggies and cook for 3-4 minutes, add Kasuri methi.
  12. Paneer Tikka Masala is ready.
  13. Serve with paratha/ kulcha/ naan and enjoy.
