- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup Sesame seeds (til seeds)
- 1 cup jaggery
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 2 tablespoons Pure ghee
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder or rose essence a few drops
- as required Tray lined with greased butter paper(keep ready)

- First, dry roast the peanuts till they are crunchy and raw taste is gone. Cool and remove skin. Sieve away the skins.
- Then dry roast the sesame seeds till they are crunchy but retain colour.
- Dry roast cashews till they are just starting to become golden and switch off flame. (Keep flame low while roasting,)
- Then add jaggery, cardamom powder and water to a thick bottomed pan and melt jaggery on low flame. Then mix in ghee and keep stirring.
- Melt it to two string consistency and switch off flame. Add all the nuts and stir quickly.
- Pour the mixture on the greased and lined tray and press all over with a greased spatula or back of a katori. Make marks of square shape if you need
- Leave it to cool and set. Then break into desired shapes and store in airtight box. Enjoy this healthy and crunchy chikki anytime!
